First a couple of things that always apply to pveing. Debuffing the mob for the method you're killing them can make them ridiculously easier. Finding spots to hide and stat before you need to is a good plan, and ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS BRING A SKINNER AND SKIN. If new, you have no idea how much money is just left on decaying corpses. Some of these mobs skins are worth 1200 gold alone.

ALRIGHTY

Very Easy Mobs for new characters or the lazy

Salamanders
- 1'28" E 23'54" S
- 0'38" E 23'54" S
Why they're worth it: They're right outside to the north, they die very fast, raise reflex and rigor quickly, drop an average of 166 gold in value after skin (Mostly in the occassionaly 2-5 ichor skin that happens 10% of the time), their cinder is used for arcane necklaces. And you can skill up anything on them, magic, melee, archery.

Easy Orks
- 0'2" E 24'9" S
- 0'5" E 23'47" S
Why they're worth it: They're easy and drop decent gear. If the salamanders are available I'd skip these but if they're not they're not bad.

Trolls
0'20" W 23'44" S
Why they're worth it: They're easy and drop decent regs. Used in title quests

Medium Mobs

Melechar
- 1'3" E 26'25" S
- 0'58" E 26'49" S
Why they're worth it: Don't hit very hard, the shamans drop portal shards fairly regularly, decent gold drop. Good for raising melee, good skins
How to kill: Scale armor, r30 or r40, drag no more than you can handle.

Revenants
0'19" W 26'47" S
0'28" W 27'10" S
Why they're worth it: Decent skins, some are easy, some aren't. The harder ones drop good gold. Used in the vit title quest.
How to kill: Scale armor, archery at the leash

Greater Below, Black Knight, Malauts
1'39" E 24'21" S
1'35" E 22'52" S
Why they're worth it: Dark Quintessence which black knights skin for is worth 600 apiece minimum at the moment, they can skin for two. In addition to already dropping great stuff, these are great to kill. Below darktaint sells for around 100-150, and the malauts drop good regs.
How to kill: Archery or melee for the mages, bolt spells for the knights

Sarnakhs
0'11" E 22'6" S
Why they're worth it: Good source of greenleaf. The vile sarnakhs skin for 1-2 foul venom sacs on 80% of kills which are currently around 500 apiece. , they can also drop other goodies.
How to kill: Melee, if you're great with archery that can work too but it can be frustrating

Basalt Golems
0'38" E 25'47" S
0'57" E 25'15" S
Why they're worth it: 724 average gold worth per kill. 25% of dropping 3-8 numen (150 apiece) 1% chance of dropping 1-2 runestones, 5-15 crystal per kill 10-30 sparkstone 50% of the time (25g apiece)
How to kill: Bolt spells, any bolt spell and they die quick. Melee works too but they hit hard, so if you dont have much health dont try it.

Severii Legionaires
1'40" W 25'18" S
Why they're worth it: Spawn in clumps, decent skins, source of nith and veilron keys.
How to kill: Archery, Melee

Forest Prophets
2'15" W 23'52" S
Why they're worth it: 1-2 sylvan lifeforce 50% skin, worth around 250 apiece. Decent other items, fairly easy to kill, quick respawn
How to kill: Melee, Archery

Serpentines
2'53" W 24'34" S
3'32" W 24'31" S
2'54" W 23'55" S
3'30" W 23'52" S
1'33" E 22'46" S
Why they're worth it: Fantastic skinning mats, can skin up to 15 q4 greenleaf in one skin (100-150 apiece), skins for vile spikes often (150-200), ichor (100), and a lot of gems. Have low health
How to kill: Melee, debuff before hand if you can, or atleast be able to get away to heal.

Hobgoblins
2'2" E 23'51" S
1'7" W 25'36" S
Why they're worth it: Drop good equipment, weapons. Good for training magic on.
How to kill: Magic. Melee/Archery not bad but there are better mobs if you're training that.

Oathbounds
0'24" W 26'59" S
Why they're worth it: Easy to kill, up to 188 gold
How to kill: Melee/Archery

Earth Elementals
2'2" E 26'46" S
Why they're worth it: Good numen skins, die fairly quickly and don't do much damage
How to kill: Melee with scale, buff earth protection

Air Elementals
2'9" E 25'49" S
1'37" E 27'7" S
Why they're worth it: Good numen skins, die fairly quickly and don't do much damage
How to kill: Melee with scale, buff air protection

Hard Mobs

Gray Orks
0'16" E 25'5" S
0'11" E 25'29" S
0'8" W 25'16" S
0'10" E 25'48" S
Why they're worth it: Skin for q4 darktaint, one of the easiest things to sell in the game, 225 apiece.
How to kill: Scale armor, archery. Don't get caught in the middle of the spawn when they respawn.

Oak Lords
0'29" E 26'45" S
0'18" E 27'3" S
0'0" E 26'29" S
Why they're worth it: 5-15 wood per skin, 8-23 timber, 10-30 quarts (20 apiece), 1% chance of astrolabe, 1% chance of runestone, numen 20%, 1-2 steedgrass 5%
How to kill: Melee, easy breezy, especially if you debuff

Menhir Aelders & Custodians
1'27" E 26'35" S
1'41" E 25'53" S
3'21" E 26'46" S
Why they're worth it: Drop good gold, (100-500 per kill), 1-2 menhir hearts 40% (50 apiece), portal shards, great for melee gains
How to kill: Debuff, Melee

Ogre Bully
2'10" E 24'44" S
Why they're worth it: Drop a lot of bags, decent gold, decent skinning mats/food, giant bone
How to kill: Range

Hill Giant Sluggers
2'7" E 26'15" S
0'19" W 24'38" S
Why they're worth it: They drive me nuts, but they're easy to not die to, drop decent items, and are big so training magic on them is easy
How to kill: Stay ranged most of the time, heal when necessary, cast or shoot arrows at them.

Ravens
0'58" E 20'59" S
Why they're worth it: R40/R50 gear, good gold, decent skins
How to kill: If you have mastery you can probably melee them if you debuff them sufficiently, if not, magic from a position you can get away from

Raptors
1'1" E 24'49" S
Why they're worth it: Fairly easy to melee if you take them one at a time, and the claws are worth around 500g
How to kill: Debuff, Melee

Very Hard

Menhir Stoneguards, Aelders & Custodians
1'37" E 25'43" S
2'1" E 25'17" S
Why they're worth it: A lot of gold, can get rare drops from the stone guards.
How to kill: Debuff or hit with a group, daggers are recommended

Forest Golem
0'45" E 26'30" S
Why they're worth it: 2% chance of 1-2 astrolabes, 10-30 timber 8-23 wood q5 greenleaves, 3-8 steedgrass 20% of the time
How to kill: Hard if you're not careful, easy if you're patient. Cast fire debuff, undeath, then fire bolts, keep shooting until he dies.

Varangians
1'1" E 21'42" S
Why they're worth it: r50 weapons, full plate armor, not that hard when you get the hang of them
How to kill: Archery. They have decent health but if you can keep them at range they'll drop fairly quick, and the loot is good

Minotaur
0'7" E 28'8" S
Why they're worth it: Q4 horn, which is a bitch to get and expensive, only 1 at the spawn
How to kill: Archery, don't get into melee.

I killed 1 Raptor a week or 2 ago on Yssam. Got a lot of leather (I already have 3k). Raptors can NOT move faster than a regular mount i'm told.
