1st of all, i got a basic keyboard and mouse, so anyone can do it.

Go to Input Binding.
Change sprint to Shift+W(The key you use to run.)
Apply.

To make it work, you need to hold Shift+W. Then, you release shift and W at last.

Now, you are suppose to be able to sprint without holding anything, but W.

If you open Gui mode, loot a grave, you will have to toggle sprint again. This is the annoying part, but better then holding right click in my opinion.

Neat trick... my only problem is that I can't seem to be able to stop sprinting reliably (somehow stopped sprinting once, but not sure how). One workaround is to hold the 'walk' key as well, which makes it run rather than sprint... hope you didn't need to walk for any reason (which I fortunately never do).

[Edit] It also seems to be difficult to get started sometimes when I do successfully get it to stop. This seems risky, as there's a chance it won't sprint when I want it to. [/Edit]

[Edit 2] OK, it seems like I'm starting to get a handle on this. So I hit 'shift-w', my character doesn't move, but once I release those keys, it's now toggled in sprint mode, and I can just hit 'w' to sprint instead of run. To go back to running instead of sprinting, enter and exit gui mode. I guess I'll leave this enabled for now. [/Edit]

While holding shift+W, you cant move, thats normal. Then, you need to release shift 1st and W after.Hold W and you are suppose to sprint. Its muscle memory to me and i feel much more better with these setup.

If you are uncertain, just make sure to hold shift 1st, dont press shift and W at the same time yet. Go slow and raise your rhythm later on. Its easy to get use to that setup.

Also, with that setup, your new default run is your gui mode key. Just press it twice and you will run instead of sprinting.
